You say goodbye, I say hello. :)

March 29, 2009

So my year as a neophyte in UP is officially over. And my stay in the freshman dorm is over as well. :(((

It’s so fcking sad I don’t even know how to start writing a blog entry about it.

Actually, I didn’t realize how sad it would be to leave the dorm until we had our yearender party. Things went on the same around the place, people were enjoying themselves and having a pretty good time. We had games and sang songs together. Everybody was all smiles until we got to the part where we had to form a huge circle, hold hands and reminisce. Kuya Azin asked us to go up to whoever and just say our goodbyes. That was my cue- I cried. I turned to my two good friends who are leaving Miami for Diliman and I just hugged them tightly and cried. I went around hugging other friends too- my roommates, my blockmates and all the people who have truly been a great part of my life. I even hugged my two best guy pals who I know isn’t into sentimental stuff but I hugged them anyway. They asked me to stop crying but there’s nothing they can do about it so they just smiled and let me cry. :)))

After all the emotions running high came the next part of the program- DISCO. Of couuurse, who could forget that part of the program?! HAHA. By 1am, everybody was so hyper the dorm just came alive. Almost everybody clustered in their groups and walked all the way to banwa to jsut relax and eat burgers. Me and my friends had a blast just walking and talking with each other. The topic? My lovelife. Jee-heesus. They were arguing about who is more likely to become my boyfriend. I was not enjoying this part of our walk. They teased me like there was no tomorrow. I just kept laughing. Hahaha. Let’s not dwell into that part.

We walked on and even got to lie down in the middle of the street. We were too fcking hyper to think about what we were doing. It is our last night before summer starts, after all. We arrived at Big Mak! and ordered burgers. We bumped into some of our dormmates and chatted with them for a while. Some headed off to the other food chains that were open, the guys, I believe, were in a bar drinking. When we got back to the dorm, the party was in throttle mode. Everybody was either drunk or just too high to go to sleep. As for me and my friends, we continued our bonding time by gathering in two beds and do what we do best- talk. HAHAHA. But this time around, it’s the good things. No backstabbing, no bad words, just the good times. I will never forget the people who have been made my stay in the freshman dorm one of the best years of my life.

To Jill, Chuchay, Charisse, Kizia, Ate Ethel, Raprap, Dondi, Ernie, Bob, Mara, Petpet and all the friends that I am proud to say I have made all throughout my stay in Balay Lampirong, thank you. 🙂

Till we meet again, friends. It’s never goodbye.
