We had the COLT ’08 training for the new upcoming CAT Officers for the next schoolyear.
Yes, It was finally OUR turn to trick, manipulate, hurt, scream at, laugh at, spit at and make the applicants suffer. Oh, yesss. REVENGE IS DEFINITELY SWEET. VERY SWEET INDEED. >:-)
And so, the 4-day training went exactly the way we wanted it to. Applicants cried & begged for help, they thirsted for water, crawled for they could no longer walk and just plain suffer and be miserable for the whole training. We, the officers were loving every minute of it. But of course, we gave a bit of sympathy. A lot- if you put it generously. Which is true, by the way.
Our applicants we 30 when they started off and ended up with 17 applicants in the last day. 3 applicants didn’t even last an hour. Geez. Im telling you, this batch of applicants are very weak. Even the teachers and senior officers say so. They’re weak & no way in hell could they compare or even come close to what we experienced. I mean, in the first day itself, the applicants couldn’t even perform the squats so we, the officers/mommies of our applicants/babies had to sympathize. We had to perform the squat for them. Our command, our obey. Sheesh. But even so, we tried to squeeze their very best. They must be good enough to be officers. And yes, the 17 were.
HELL DAY was truly hell for them. Applicants crying on the floor and fainting. Okaaay. I had to give empathy somehow. My heart is not made of stone. Still, we were cruel. Like they say, you have to be cruel to be kind. HAHA.
Graduation day came and we tricked the applicants into thinking their other fellow applicant was quitting. Others cried and also quit to sympathize. Others stayed but our commandant made the others quit saying that they were unfit to continue with the training. Tears were streaming down their faces. Oh, how I loved it. Everyone soon found out it was a joke and had a good laugh. Evaluation for their ranks were tough. Others were too good, others were too weak. But still, we think we made the right choices. Ay! Baby ku nga si Therese naging Cdette Major, S5! see? I knew she could do it! :))
At the graduation, our commandant formally ended our officership. Hmbl ya, “OFFICERS, YOU ARE NOW FORMALLY AND PERMANENTLY DISMISSED.”
Then came the group hug & the crying part. Hay nakuuu. Ndi nku officer. Shiyet. Except kung mabalik ku sa school mag COLT 09 training. Oh schnit. I still cant believe it. SERNIOR OFFICER nku. footah.
Congrats, new officers. Make us proud. 🙂
( New officers are the ones wearing the plain blue shirt. The senior officers are well, wearing whatever they want to wear. haha. Not complete )
