MISTER BOSS, SIR.

December 19, 2007

I’m feeling kindda random chooday so…

If you vill allow me, I vonna write a whole blog entry paying homage to Meester Louis Vuitton. Oh, Yeth. To ze man heemself, ze one whoo keeps up me all night just theenkin’ about yer bald leetol head. Okay, maybe not. But I do love you, meester big guy.

Anyhoo, if yooo aren’t supplied with yer daily dose of Louis Vuitton’s yummy vitamins to perk up yer day & keep ya droolin’ all ze way, imma do it fer ya.

Ready? okay.

first off, I vonna introduce you to ze lockit bag. Zat leetol darling is a classic. Wanna know why it’s called that? Well, because it is used by most businesswomen who use it to keep their files safe, secured and organized. Lovely, ain’t it? 🙂

Next, we have ze KEEPALL BAG. It’s perfect for traveling. The name says eet all, dahhling. You can keep all yer stuff in zer. It’ll be very organized, too. Well, as long as yooo follow ’em up. 😉

And oooh, my favorite! The speedy bag. This is ze ultimate carry-on bag. You can take it anyvere. At the mall, out of town, par-tay, anywhere at all! Gerrrl, you gotta get yerself on of these. Well, if you have ze money, of course. (–,)

And then, the NOE. I’m not quite sure how to pronounce it though. In a bit of a fumble myself. oh, well. This little bag is excellent for those adventurous and active types. The go-getters, Jet-setters, table-setters (haha. keeding.) Scratch the last one. Anyhoo, this bag is perfect fer you if you are that kindda woman. Rwar. :]]

Up next! The Alma. Oh, yes. This bag is a multi-purpose bag. Louis Vuitton innovated the old Alma bag to make it one of the most emblematic bags of today. I like it! I know you do, too. Oh, pish-posh. Admit eeet. ;))

Oh, of course. We also have ze Bucket. I also like this one because it’s not a typical bag. It’s unique. It used to be that the only use of buckets were to feed horses and paddocks but ze master has turned it into one of the most sought bags in ze world. (^_^)

THE PAPPILON. oh, this one is so cute, I think it was made for keeds. Well, Twiggy was the model of this bag and she did look like a kid, so, yeah. ugh. wtzever. I’m rambling again. So, anyway, this Pappilon bag the is designed in a tubular shape is also a one-of-a-kind. =)

WE ALSO HAVE THE WARDROBE, AMAZONE AND THE STEAMER BAG.

I’m sorry I cannot show the pictures to you now but I will try soon. Zees blog is shhooo fcked up. Imma delete it and maek a new one. Pagtiyagaan niyo nalang anay ni. Ugh. Sorry gd. 😦

Gots to go. Cheerios!

PLAYFEST HIGH

December 8, 2007

NOVEMBER 5-7, 2007

CAE (English) & CAF (Filipino) PLAYFEST: FIN.

I FEEL SO EUPHORIC RIGHT NOW!

wanna know why? Because we won! we fuh-reakin won! Yayyy! :))

A little info on our play.

TITLE- TWILIGHT HOME. Original play production by our section, MME. I was one of the scriptwriters.

GENRE- Dark Comedy (first ever in the whole history of Assumption plays)

STORYLINE: A dyfunctional family who was visited by a stranger (devil in human form) who then succeeded in ruining their lives little by little.

CHARACTERS: Tony- the father, was a workaholic man ho had an affair ; Gene- the mom, was a housewife and a martyr for her family; Georgina– the sister, was so self-centered and selfish;Louis– brother (played by: ME!), was a troubled kid rebelling against his father; Andy– the little brother who had sexuality issues.

From the very start, I really like our play (Twilight Home). From the slow motion stint (first time ever done) to the interactive audience introduction (my idea. yay! haha. also first time ever done), I never doubted our capacity in winning the play. Still, we felt unsure becasue we know the other sections also have great storylines and great actors so, it would be really tough. Thankfully, we came out on top! 🙂 After the play, a judge commented, “How do these things enter your mind? The thought of schizophrenia, psychos and evil. How are you influenced? Your storyline is so unbelievable, so different. You are 4th yr, right? You pulled it off. Great characters. Congratulations.”

We even moved a judge to tears even if the whole play was comedic. awww. People thought it was all about horror and suspense but they were all laughing throughout the whooole play. They asked for an encore! haha. Buhh-ravo, MME! We really did succeed in making a mark in Assumption before we get to graduate. Pustahanay pa ta. Next year, may slow motion scenes man ang ibn! haha.

Best Production Design, Besto Technical Design, Best in Costume, Best Script, Best Directors & yes, BEST PLAY!We didn’t win in the CAF play though. MMA won. Eesokay. I’m happy for them!

I am very proud of my batch. Everybody just had a good time! We enjoyed our last play performance onstage before we would be graduating from hs. I mean, who wouldnt be proud of the fact that our batch produced 3 original plays that then came out beautifully? Suh-weeet. 🙂

The other year levels also did well. Nakibot ku gni. I never thought that the play wouldbe this great & fun!

CONGRATULATIONS, EVERYBODY! we did eeet.

It doesn’t matter if you didn’t get first place, you did the play, gave your best and had a gay ole time! That’s what’s important, right? 🙂

right.

THE SUPPOSEDLY WINNING PIECE ;)

December 5, 2007

Citizens of the Philippines, Hear me. Not that I desire for fame or beg for your esteem, for that which I will speak, but, for that, which this country, moans and aches.

Scores of our heroes have sacrificed, that this country, be delivered, from tyranny. Yet, their tears and toils, bloods and sweats, have yet to find fruition, in the present state of this nation.

Our leaders have, in many a speech and verbal tirades, assured us of unity, clothed in the mantle of tranquility. Should we be happy? Hardly. For like a wizard, who spins tricks before a gullible public, so do our leaders, lull us, into an ethereal illusion of a reconciliation.

While unity is advocated, discord is implanted- in the rallies in the streets and in the circus, in Congress. Retaliation, is first priority, in all relations, between the Administration and opposition. Congressional Inquiries, masquerades for political demolition, while Executive orders, cover, for abuses of powers.

But pray tell, what’s the cause of all this: Corruption or blind ambition? Hunger for power or the thirst to be always first? Or, is it not greed, for anything and for everything? Is vengeance so sweet, that Unity be sacrificed, in the altar of vested interests?

Leaders of this country, can you not stop & talk a while? Pride and Prejudice would render no justice, nor Avarice and greed, lead to peace. Can a bridge be constructed or a road paved, when one is building but the other is destroying? Wither would the Filipino go, where everyone fights and no one makes right? To move forward, none must go backwards.

The road to forgiveness is most unforgiving. Easily said, but hardly seen, in deed. Yet, does not forgiving bring healing, for he who forgives is himself, freed, from the travails of anger and hatred? If HE, who is master above all, have forgiven, humanity’s collective sins, Can we not do the same, O mere mortals of the Philippines? Reconciliation, and not retribution heals a nation.

We have suffered long and hard. Separated by geography, and exploited by many, we cannot afford continued political disarray. There’s no gain, other than pains, if we dwell, upon half-forgotten or imagined sins, while this country’s future face ruin. Enmity breeds only animosity but humility brings forth unity. For at the end of the day, the Filipino gains glory, not on account of property or money, but on the strength of their unity in the face of adversity.

Honorable citizens, would there be amongst you, who holds sacred, divisiveness above togetherness? Had there been no one, who has not savored, the joys of a Bayanihan? Is there any comfort, greater felt, than in times of precarious need, all come for one and one for all? Would it not be best, if we, people, talk and walk, or wine and dine, or sing and dance, or even fry and cry, together as one?

Peace and prosperity awaits a United citizenry. The path is done, it’s just that, the walk must be begun. By one and by all. Hand in hand, together and forever, with neither fear or favor, nor hate and rancor. But always, with faith and determination, molded, in the crucible of reconciliation, for a united nation.

I am the Youth. To be able to laugh, to cry, to rock and to roll, to enjoy w/ one and with all, is about enough, to make my day. I have nothing, but the HOPE of a better and brighter future. Could you not spare me such luxury? Love, care and understanding, and oh, even money, I can demand from my family, but Unity?  – I can only ask of my country. Please, Let it be your gift to me.
